Absences/Tardiness
If a student will not be attending class, please notify the instructor ahead of time. 
Once a student is excused for an absence, i.e. illness or school function,
they may participate in a similar class for make up. 
Classes must be made up within a month of the missed class. 
Refunds will not be honored for missed classes. 
It is important that students arrive on time for class to avoid disruptions and
possible injury due to missed warm-up time. 
Students late more than ten minutes to class will only be allowed to observe.

Vacations
Dance Nation does not hold classes on the following days:
Halloween, Thanksgiving (Wed.-Sun.),
Christmas-New Years,Vernon Public Schools February vacation,
Good Friday, and Memorial Day
Dancers will be notified in advance if there will be cancellations on a non-scheduled day. 
If inclement weather prevents classes from meeting, a cancellation notice
will be on the studio voice mail and website.  Posting will be on television station NBC 30.
Inclement weather cancellations will be made up in the event
that more than two classes are missed for this reason.

Holiday Showcase
All dancers are invited to perform in this exciting and informal event. 
Each class will learn a short routine to perform at this showcase. 
Costumes are not purchased for this event.  Families, friends, and dancers then mingle
after the show and enjoy refreshments. 
A DJ will play music after the second show for everyone to dance and
have some fun before the holiday break!  Showcase is held in December.

Year-End Recital
Dancers will perform numbers that demonstrate the technique and moves they have learned throughout the year. 
Costumes are ordered for this show and dancers will purchase required tights. 
Recital will be held in May/June.
